EML-Entertainments Silver Stream Technology

Specifications:
The Silver Stream Network Technology enables the implementation of a suite of media format controllers along with HUD 'hotspots' and Business Collaborative tools, all from a single server.

The Server is deeded anywhere on a Sim, that allows for serving any of the facilities of the Silver Stream Network, anywhere on that Sim, irrespective of parcel boundaries within that Sim. Now all your residents can enjoy controlling their own media, even multiple screens/media controllers per Parcel! Each screen incorporates its own media controller and a built in play-list, so they can add their own favorite TV Channels, Movies and Music ** without interfering with anyone else's viewing experience. What's more, the systems can all cooexist with elements of the suite of 'add ons' from a single server. All the owner of a screen requires, is permission to drop objects onto the land from the owner of the land/parcel/sim and run scripts, no media permissions are required. Want to share with your friends your favorite holiday or wedding pictures? Simply drop your screen on any Silver Stream Network enabled SIM and you can. If the SIM isn't enabled, why not give the land owner a server (available from our shop) and ask them to enable their SIM for maximum enjoyment and media facilities.

Each screen comes with an adjustable range sensor, that triggers the playing of the chosen Media play-list, as a viewer comes into range, a perfect solution for those Education/Informative walk through routes, or in Offices, Shopping Malls and Multi-floor buildings. The careful positioning of a collection of screens, and sensor range settings can mean multi media can be available even within a confined space, expanding greatly the ability to offer a multitude of different media streams. Combined with the media play-list controllers, each screen can be used for a full media experience.

Within the play-list entries, the user can mix resolutions of different media and have the system auto align automatically to suit the screen resolution, or by adjusting the screen size (each screen has full mod permissions enabled) to suit the content resolution, turning off Auto Align, will reduce the small overhead associated. Time is also another feature of the incorporated play-list facility, you assign a time span the individual media will show, combined with the media controllers, allowing for the following media controls - Play, Stop, '<' previous media, '>' next media, Sequencing the play-list (Normal), Loop the current media and Shuffle which will show media in a random sequence.
Each screen is uniquely coded and registered with an off game secure server, for maximum security. This helps prevent stream hijacking.

Collaborative Tools
The suite of tools that are enabled within each Silver Stream Network Server, include Whiteboard, Blackboard, Slide Show and full media control. Projects created using the suite can be saved and later retrieved for further work. The system offers the collaboration of 10-15 participating group members, with more non-participating members, useful for group/company/organization conferencing and training. HUD Screen *
Each wearer/user of the HUD system will be able to enjoy such features as 'Buy from the screen' shopping, Multi-Media playing, where there is a Silver Stream Network enabled 'Hot Spot'. As the system develops throughout Second Life, it will create a SL Intranet, allowing users of the system, to use these functions in more and more places.

Buying from the screen **, dial up your favorite designer/creator in Second Life, or search for products using the incorporated search facility, and see goods shown on a multi media screen in either 2D pictures, or 3D movies showing full rotation and movement. Click a 'Buy' if you see something you like and the transaction is automatically taken care of and your goods delivered directly to your inventory, ready for you to enjoy. If you prefer, you can click the 'Go To' button and automatically TelePort to the place where it is on sale.

Load and play your favorite TV channels, movies or pictures ** direct from the HUD system, using the configurable play-list incorporated into the system, or go to the secure website and enter them there, the choice is yours.

Want to share your media with your friends or group? By giving your friends your own url link, they can watch it on their HUD. Your friends don't have a HUD? Get them to pick one up from the many vendors distributed throughout Second Life or get them to drop by EML Entertainments store and pick one up.
